Frank Sanders, Windhaul Partners LLC
CEO AND FOUNDER
Frank is a biopharma executive with 30+ years of experience bringing novel medicines to the market. He built fully-integrated commercial stage companies for US and EU emerging biotechs and led major business model transformations for global companies including Janssen Pharmaceutical and GlaxoSmithKline. Frank has launched over 15 products in his career, including innovative drugs requiring new treatments and reimbursement pathways.
Outside of work, Frank is an advocate in the cancer community and sits on the board of a charitable cancer organization. His passion lies in traveling to the most remote parts of the globe, immersing himself in history, culture, and the pursuit of fly fishing.

Matt Battin
MANAGING PARTNER
Matt has over 30 years of executive experience in the biotechnology industry. He has built company operations, business units, and teams from inception for emerging biotech firms and established market leaders. He has successfully launched dozens of products and indications including highly-specialized first-in-class drugs in complex disease areas. His experience spans therapeutic areas that include oncology, hematology, rare diseases, and neurosciences. Matt’s breadth of experience enables him to bring a pragmatic approach to help clients achieve their business and talent goals.
Matt has a passion for coaching and developing people. Throughout his professional life he has mentored some of the most successful leaders in the biotech industry. Outside of work, he spent over a decade coaching competitive youth travel soccer teams. Matt loves to spend time with his wife and three kids, traveling and taking on new adventures. He is also an avid Philly sports fan.
